We're thrilled to announce that the 2024 season is shaping up to be one of our most exciting yet, with a diverse range of exceptional musicians scheduled to perform. From American singer-songwriter Kate Taylor, the younger sister of James Taylor, to the Kruger Brothers, who will debut in their Cultural Center on May 5th, there is something for everyone.

 

The Kruger Brothers are known for their phenomenal discipline and creativity, with a unique ability to infuse classical music into folk music. Their sound has made them a fixture in the acoustic music world and we can't wait for audiences to experience their magic.

 

In May, sound designer and musician Skooby Laposky will bring the campus to life with an installation and performance of biometric music. The performance will turn the everyday biological processes of trees into ethereal songs, creating a unique sensory experience for the audience. This performance is in alignment with all of the Center’s galleries filled with visual art that focuses on the delicate world around us.

 

David Wax Museum is back in the Great Hall and for an intimate salon at the Guyer Barn. And finally, Kotoko Brass will be performing again in 2024, bringing rhythms into our lives with their fusion of traditional drumming from Central Ghana, the sturdy bass and keyboards of the Caribbean, and the joyous horns of New Orleans. Their performance is a celebration of multiculturalism and a testament to the power of music to unite people from all backgrounds.
