CLASSES/WORKSHOPS
The Cultural Center of Cape Cod offers a wide range of classes and workshops for all levels of art. Each class is presented by an artist who has extensive knowledge and skills in the subject he/she presents. All classes are limited to a certain number of attendees to maximize their learning experience… and yours. New classes are added frequently.
Classes for adults generally run from four to eight weeks. Lengths of classes are noted in class descriptions on our website.
Culinary Classes are held as one individual class.
Workshops are one- to three-day intensive art instruction.
Workshop Series run over the course of multiple months.
LOCATION & PARKING
Class locations within our building are listed in the description on each class page. Occasionally a class may need to be moved to another part of our building, flexibility is encouraged. The best place to park is the lot behind our building, a ramp will lead you to our back door.

MATERIALS
Specific materials required or suggested for classes or workshops are the student’s responsibility. All classes and workshops will have a materials list on our website on the appropriate class page. Students should be prepared to bring materials to the first class.
CHILDREN
Teenagers are welcome in most adult classes, but please check with us. The Cultural Center complies with the Massachusetts CORI regulations regarding teachers and others working with children.
CANCELLATION
Cultural Center reserves the right to cancel a class or workshop due to low enrollment, instructor cancellation, or other events beyond our control. We keep registration open until a few days before the class begins, as there are typically last-minute sign-ups. Students will receive notification and a full refund.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Classes will not be held during highly inclement weather. Most of our classes will be canceled if Cape Cod schools are closed. Evening and weekend students should check their email or call the Center for a recorded message the day of their class to check on the status. We will make up classes canceled due to snow or other emergencies at the end of the session.
REFUND POLICY
If you need to cancel a reservation for a class or event, please make every attempt to give us the time we’ll need to fill your seat. Please also consider the ramifications of your cancellation, especially when an instructor/performer is traveling from a distance, purchasing materials in advance, and otherwise counting on the reservations/registrations we’ve reported.
If a student cancels a registration at least 5 days before a class begins, a refund will be granted. Any cancellations after that date will not qualify for a refund. Students who do not show up for a class or workshop will not receive a refund. There is no pro-rating of classes, payment is made by session, not by class.
No refund will be given after the start of a class/workshop unless there is a documented medical emergency.
