RISE AND SHINE & ACCESS FOR ALL

We are expanding our Rise & Shine educational programs with funding from foundations, local cultural councils, and individual donors. These programs are in high demand and serve at-risk populations across the Cape. Our group workshops and one-on-one mentoring sessions help individuals suffering from grief, trauma, complex learning challenges, and anxiety. Our licensed mentors and educators are experienced professionals who provide much-needed assistance to these individuals during crucial times in their lives. In addition to that, we offer enjoyable and skill-building programs that include learning mindfulness through a puppet show, forming a drumming circle, experiencing focus through walking a labyrinth, creating sculptural trees in a creative arts class, or making a wooden lighthouse in our Makerspace. These programs have been very successful, and our 2023 partnerships include the Riverview School, Duffy Health, the DY Wave Program, Waypoint Academy, and individuals introduced to the Center through the educators, parents, or corrections departments. With your support, we can continue to provide these programs to those who need them the most. Your donation makes a difference in someone’s life and we urge you to join us in our mission to help those in need.

“All week I so look forward to being here because it’s the only time I’m completely relaxed. It helps me so much.” Riverview Student
